Over the top –
The phrase “going over the top” was used during World War I and used to reference the attacking infantry rising out of their own trenches to assault the enemy. Have you felt like you’ve been in a trench lately? Are things in your life moving slowly and you’ve felt you are in a constant battle or struggle? It is your “over the top season”. God is doing a new thing and about to move you over the top. You are coming out of the trenches and annihilating the enemy. You are moving over the top and gaining ground over all fear, doubt, financial strain, the pain of your past. Over the top of that mountain, over the top of that struggle, over the top of that barricade that has stopped your movement forward. Speak to that barricade and command it to move. Only believe and trust in Him; the enemy is a defeated foe and demolished in the name of Jesus!
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2
Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. Mathew 21:21
